Terms and Conditions

1. Services

Resume Resort [RigBoyz] provides digital resume writing and related career services. Service availability depends on scheduling and resource constraints.

​

Services may include resume writing packages, LinkedIn optimization services, targeted cover letter writing, digital template products, career strategy documents, document conversion services, and free resume diagnostic reviews.

​

Free resume reviews, ATS assessments, and diagnostic reports are professional opinions based on industry experience and available technology at the time of review. These reviews are informational only and do not constitute guarantees of employment outcomes, ATS behavior, or hiring decisions.

 

2. Payment

  • Full payment is required before service delivery unless the client is enrolled in an approved installment plan.

  • Prices are listed in CAD (Canadian Dollars) and exclude applicable taxes.

  • Payments may be made through Stripe, PayPal, or, for Canadian clients, e-transfer on a case-by-case basis.

  • Digital products and services are non-refundable.

 

Installment Payment Plans (email us for more details)

For certain packages (including Package 2 and Package 3), Resume Resort [RigBoyz] offers manual installment payment options:

 

  • Clients must complete all payments in full before any services or deliverables are provided.

  • No drafts, previews, or partial work will be released until the full package price has been paid.

  • Installment payments are non-refundable. If all installments are not completed, no services will be delivered and no refunds will be issued.

  • Installments are manual payments, not subscriptions. Clients are responsible for making manual payments.

  • Services begin only after the final installment payment has cleared and the intake form has been submitted.

  • Promotional codes, discounts, or coupons may not be applied to installment plans.

  • Applicable taxes are calculated and applied to each installment.

 

3. Client Responsibilities

By using our services, you agree to:

 

  • Provide complete and accurate information.

  • Respond promptly to service-related communications.

  • Use the final resume for legitimate job-seeking purposes only.

  • Refrain from sharing, reproducing, or reselling our digital products or templates.

  • Acknowledge that all services, support, and communication are conducted digitally only (email, direct platform messaging, and written channels). Phone calls and in-person meetings are not offered.

  • Acknowledge that each purchased service includes one primary deliverable aligned to the purchased service description (for example: one resume, one cover letter, one LinkedIn profile optimization, or one strategy report).

  • Requests for multiple resumes targeting different industries, roles, or career directions require separate purchases.

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring their email address is correct and for checking spam or junk folders for delivery messages.

 

Failure to meet these responsibilities may delay or void service delivery without refund.

 

4. Intellectual Property

  • Resume Resort [RigBoyz]retains all rights to proprietary templates, tools, and processes.

  • Ownership of the final resume content is transferred to the client upon delivery.

  • All website content, including brand assets, is protected by copyright law.

  • Digital template products, guides, and downloadable materials may not be reproduced, distributed, or resold.

 

5. Limitation of Liability

  • Resume Resort [RigBoyz] does not guarantee job placement.

  • Liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.

  • We are not responsible for errors or inaccuracies resulting from client-provided information.

  • We are not responsible for employer hiring decisions, recruiter behavior, ATS algorithm behavior, or labor market conditions.

 

6. Service Delivery

  • Services are delivered digitally only after the full payment amount for the selected package has been received.

  • For installment plans, no work begins and no deliverables are provided until the final installment is complete and the intake form is submitted.

  • Access to deliverables is provided via email.

  • Resume Resort [RigBoyz] reserves the right to decline service at its sole discretion.

  • Clients have twelve (12) months from the date of purchase to submit their intake form and required materials. If the intake form and required documentation are not submitted within this timeframe, the project will be considered expired and no services will be delivered.

 

Turnaround Time and Intake Form Delivery:

  • Turnaround time begins only after we have received both your completed intake form and your most recent resume or supporting documentation.

  • Upon checkout, Wix automatically sends a digital confirmation email containing your intake form link. This message is delivered instantly but may appear in your Spam, Junk, or Promotions folder. Clients are responsible for checking these folders and completing the intake form promptly to avoid delays in service delivery.

Intake Form Format Requirements:
 

To maintain fast turnaround times and keep our service pricing accessible, all client-provided information must be submitted in text-based format.

​

This means:

​

  • Your existing resume must be provided in an editable, text-based format (Word, Google Docs, Pages, or typed directly into the intake form or email).

  • Scanned PDFs, images, photos of resumes, or flat/non-selectable text files are not accepted.

  • All certifications, tickets, licenses, and additional documentation must be typed into the intake form or email.

  • Screenshots, scanned cards, certificates, or image-based documents may only be processed if the Document Conversion Add-On has been purchased and the materials are legible.

 

We do not offer transcription, OCR cleanup, or document reconstruction from images unless the Document Conversion Add-On has been purchased.

 

Providing your information in a clear, typed format ensures accuracy and allows us to deliver your resume efficiently and affordably.

Failure to provide information in the required format may delay service delivery.

 

7. Modifications

  • These Terms and Conditions may be updated at any time.

  • Notice of changes will be posted on our website.

  • Continued use of services indicates acceptance of the updated terms.

 

8. Unlimited Online Support

“Unlimited support” means you may email us at any time if you have trouble opening, viewing, or using the files we deliver, or if you have questions about how to apply them in your job search.
Support does not include ongoing edits or resume rewrites after you have approved the final draft. For updates or changes beyond final delivery, a new service must be purchased.
Clients are responsible for initiating contact if support is needed.

 

9. Lifetime Storage

We make reasonable efforts to maintain a copy of your final resume package on secure third-party hosting (currently Bluehost) as a courtesy. If you lose your documents, you may email us and, if available, we will resend the original files at no charge.

 

We do not guarantee indefinite file storage or recovery in the event of data loss, hosting failure, or other circumstances beyond our control. Clients are responsible for saving and backing up their final files upon delivery.

10. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

  • By purchasing our services, you agree to contact us directly to resolve any concerns before initiating a chargeback through Stripe, PayPal, or your bank.

  • Unauthorized chargebacks or disputes may result in account suspension and collection action.

  • All payments are subject to the policies of the selected payment provider.

 

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Canada and the Province of Saskatchewan.

 

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions will be resolved through mediation or binding arbitration, unless prohibited by law.
This includes disputes relating to installment payment obligations and refund eligibility.

 

13. 90-Day Money-Back Guarantee (Sunset Policy)

​

Resume Resort previously offered a 90-Day Money-Back Guarantee subject to the terms and conditions published at the time of purchase.

 

The 90-Day Money-Back Guarantee was effective for purchases made between October 15, 2025 and March 2, 2026.

As of March 2, 2026, this guarantee has been formally discontinued and is no longer offered on new purchases.

Clients who purchased during the effective period remain subject to the guarantee terms in place at the time of their original transaction. Purchases made on or after March 2, 2026 are non-refundable unless otherwise explicitly stated in writing.

​

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

​

15. Draft Review & Revision Policy

Clients will be provided with a preliminary draft for review prior to final delivery. This draft reflects the structure, ATS optimization, and content direction determined by Resume Resort [RigBoyz] and is not the final version.

​

Revision requests must be submitted in writing via email and listed in order from top to bottom. Clients must not edit, rewrite, or modify the draft document directly. Resume Resort [RigBoyz] will only work from the last version it provided.

​

Resume Resort [RigBoyz] will apply factual corrections and wording changes that maintain or improve ATS performance. Requests that reduce ATS effectiveness may be declined.

​

Resume Resort [RigBoyz] retains final professional judgment regarding resume structure, formatting, keyword strategy, and content organization in order to maintain ATS performance and industry standards.

​

Revision requests must be submitted within seven (7) calendar days of receipt of the draft. If no revision request is received within this timeframe, the resume will be deemed accepted and the project will be considered complete.

​

If the Client edits or alters the draft document directly, the project will be deemed complete based on the last version delivered by Resume Resort [RigBoyz].

​

Revision rounds depend on the purchased service package (for example: Package 1 includes one revision round, Package 2 includes one revision round, and Package 3 includes two revision rounds).

Additional revisions require a new service purchase. Contact us first about this. 

​

Changes requested against Resume Resort [RigBoyz] recommendations that reduce ATS performance will void any applicable money-back guarantee.
